Since 1937, Girls Quest has worked with girls and their families. Our mission to nurture girls for life is as important today as it was when we began over 70 years ago.

While the demographics of New York City have changed since then, Girls Quest continues to provide today's girls from new immigrant and emerging majority populations with new experiences and the support they need to help them develop and reach their full potential.

Preparing all girls to meet the challenges required by global competition is an important responsibility for Girls Quest. We focus on raising expectations for all of our girls and expanding their vision of limitless possibilities. Our program is unique in that we establish long term relationships with girls during their crucial developmental years.

As we work to build social and academic competence in our future generation of young women, we also look to our past generations of women to assist us in leading these efforts to prepare our girls to excel in this complex and challenging world.

At Girls Quest we understand the urgency for all women to continue to challenge themselves to be recognized and respected for the valuable contributions they are making to their families, communities and the world.
